We are seeking an experienced Administrative Property Manager to join our team at The Susan Horak Group.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $39,500 to $50,000 per year.

As an Administrative Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our rental properties, including collections, delinquency, evictions, and account audits. You will work closely with our site managers and other office personnel to ensure timely communication and resolution of tenant issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist tenants in financial distress by connecting them with local assistance programs.
  • Manage delinquency, eviction, and charge back processes to minimize losses.
  • Coordinate with site managers and other staff on tenant matters and property status updates.
  • Prepare and submit paperwork for compensation and possession to various entities.
  • Process security deposit returns and maintain accurate digital records.
  • Set up new owners and properties in our management software and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Handle tenant requests and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Develop and implement effective property management policies and procedures.
  • Respond to emergency situations and resolve them efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Property Management software.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with related technologies.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience in property management, collections, or accounting is desirable.

This role requires prolonged sitting, occasional standing, and repetitive movements such as typing and phone usage. You must also be able to focus on multiple tasks throughout the day.
