This is an exceptional opportunity to join the executive team of an innovative Industrial AI start-up, established by a Stanford professor and led by experts in Industrial AI and aerospace analytics.

Our primary offering is an enterprise AI SaaS solution tailored for maintenance supply chains in aircraft fleets. This product is built around proprietary AI Engines, facilitating seamless integration of customer data. Our advanced technology is favored over much larger competitors by the world's leading aircraft fleet operator, with its development significantly influenced by USAF Supply Chain clients. The AI-driven approach presents a compelling business case, evidenced by substantial cost avoidance in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Position Overview

The AI product of our technology-focused organization stands out in the market. Our SaaS application is set to be launched as a certified application on the DoD Cloud. We are seeking a Corporate Development Executive capable of propelling our company forward in terms of business growth, strategic partnerships, and potential exit strategies. The initial focus will be on crafting and implementing a Go-To-Market strategy for our product.

Upon demonstrating their capabilities as a part-time Business Development consultant, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to transition into more rewarding roles, which may include commissions from multimillion-dollar sales and potential equity in M&A exits.

The consultant is expected to leverage an existing network of contacts within the defense and aerospace sectors. Key customer and partner domains may include NAVAIR, Army aviation, airlines, aircraft MRO service providers, enterprise IT vendors, and consultancies specializing in AI for sustainment.

Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in selling enterprise software within the Defense/Airlines/Aviation sectors, both directly and through partnerships/channels.
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals exceeding $1M.
  • Corporate development qualifications substantiated by relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with AI or Advanced Analytics businesses.
  • Strong understanding of and experience in selling Enterprise IT applications.
  • Interest in working with a start-up environment and contributing to its success.
  • Experience with M&A transactions is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

  • This position will commence with remote work from a home office, with occasional in-person meetings as required.
