Position Overview:

The Vice President of Strategic Corporate Accounts for the Americas in Ultrasound is pivotal in achieving the business objectives of the Strategic Corporate Accounts team. This role involves mentoring team members to promote profitable growth and increase market share across the United States, prioritizing high-impact opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Staying informed about current trends in general imaging and cardiology ultrasound is essential for aligning with growth areas in the ultrasound sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Guide the team in developing comprehensive strategic plans to seize opportunities and implement strategies through detailed action planning. Ensure consistency and excellence in the development of deal strategies and action plans, promoting the execution of effective strategies to secure opportunities.
  2. Business Management: Evaluate the strategic positioning of the Ultrasound Business within the Strategic Corporate Accounts domain, including Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). Collaborate with senior marketing leadership to formulate the Business Unit Strategic Plan. Design programs that align with the Business Unit strategy and implement them alongside Zone Sales Directors and the Strategic Corporate Accounts team. Monitor and report on national key business metrics.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Develop and refine standardized messaging for each Strategic Corporate Account (IDNs and GPOs). Influence contract strategies with customized offers and added value. Ensure the ongoing success of the Ultrasound business unit within strategic IDNs, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts involving both local and global Business Unit leadership as appropriate. Identify critical customer decisions and trends, assessing their implications for the Business Unit.
  4. Collaboration with National Strategic Accounts: Align with and advance Siemens Corporate National Accounts strategy. Identify opportunities to pilot Ultrasound initiatives within key IDNs and GPOs that will enhance Siemens' value proposition for those entities. Work closely with National Accounts Managers to drive joint strategies for pre- and post-sales success.
  5. Collaboration with Government Accounts: Align with and promote Siemens Government Accounts strategy. Identify opportunities to pilot Ultrasound initiatives within Government and Department of Defense sectors that will enhance Siemens' value proposition. Collaborate with Government Accounts Managers to drive joint strategies for pre- and post-sales success.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in sales, customer relations, or business management.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in healthcare, particularly in customer relations or business management.
  • Experience in corporate account management, national account management, or IDN relationship management.
  • Preferred experience in ultrasound technology.
  • Experience with medical device capital equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is between $219,000 and $300,000 annually, with the base pay varying based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus target of 30% is also available. Siemens Healthineers provides a comprehensive range of health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay.
