Position Overview:

The Vice President of Strategic Corporate Accounts for the Americas in Ultrasound is responsible for achieving the business objectives of the Strategic Corporate Accounts team. This role involves mentoring team members to enhance profitable growth and market presence across the United States, prioritizing key opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Staying informed about current trends in general imaging and cardiology ultrasound is essential for aligning with growth areas in the ultrasound sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Guide the team in developing comprehensive strategic plans to seize opportunities and implement strategies through actionable planning. Ensure consistency and excellence in the formulation of deal strategies and action plans, promoting effective execution to secure opportunities.
  • Business Management: Evaluate the strategic positioning of the Ultrasound Business within the Strategic Corporate Accounts sector, including Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). Collaborate with senior marketing leadership to create a Business Unit Strategic Plan, develop aligned programs, and implement them with Zone Sales Directors and the Strategic Corporate Accounts team. Monitor and report on national key business metrics.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and standardize messaging for each Strategic Corporate Account (IDNs and GPOs). Influence contract strategies with customized offers and value propositions. Ensure the ongoing success of the Ultrasound business unit within strategic IDNs, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, and identifying critical customer trends and decisions.
  • Collaboration with National Strategic Accounts: Align with Siemens Corporate National Accounts strategy, exploring pilot opportunities for Ultrasound initiatives within key IDNs and GPOs to enhance value propositions. Work closely with National Accounts Managers to drive joint strategies for pre- and post-sales success.
  • Government Accounts Collaboration: Coordinate with Siemens Government Accounts strategy, identifying opportunities to pilot Ultrasound initiatives within government sectors to enhance value propositions. Collaborate with Government Accounts Managers to drive joint strategies and coordinate RFPs.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in healthcare customer relations or business management.
  • Experience in corporate account, national account, or IDN relationship management.
  • Preferred background in ultrasound technology.
  • Experience with medical device capital equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $219,000 - $300,000 annually, with potential variations based on experience and qualifications. An annual bonus target of 30% is also included.
