The AI-driven approach presents a compelling business case, evidenced by substantial cost avoidance in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Position Overview

The AI product of our technology-focused organization stands out in the market. Our SaaS application is on the verge of being launched as a certified application on the DoD Cloud. We are in search of a Corporate Development Executive who can elevate our company in terms of business growth, partnerships, and potential exit strategies. The initial focus will be on crafting and implementing a Go-To-Market strategy for our innovative product.

Following a successful tenure as a part-time Business Development consultant, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to transition into more rewarding roles, which may include commissions from multimillion-dollar sales and potential equity in M&A transactions.

The consultant is expected to leverage an existing network of contacts within the defense and aerospace sectors. Key customer and partner domains include, but are not limited to, NAVAIR, Army aviation, airlines, aircraft MRO service providers, enterprise IT vendors, and consultancies specializing in AI for sustainment.

Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in selling enterprise software within the Defense/Airlines/Aviation sectors, both directly and through partnerships/channels.
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals exceeding $1M.
  • Corporate development qualifications substantiated by relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with AI or Advanced Analytics businesses.
  • Strong understanding of and experience in selling Enterprise IT applications.
  • Interest in working with a start-up environment and contributing to its success.
  • Experience with M&A transactions is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

  • All candidates must be US Citizens.
  • This position will commence remotely from your home office, with occasional in-person meetings required.
