About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Operations to join our team at Velociti. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability in the Southeast Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand our customer base.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and P&C leaders to maintain a holistic approach to managing all aspects of the team's performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase services provided to customers and transition accounts to adjacent divisions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports to the executive team on sales performance.
  • Develop strategies that promote optimal regional success and translate to the team how local strategies align with the ultimate goals of Velociti.
  • Administer and/or implement quality and performance systems, programs, processes, procedures, and plans throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a good, professional working relationship with all customers and ensure an active client visitation program is maintained.
  • Prepare for and participate in weekly senior management meetings to discuss key business initiatives, compliance, financial updates, new business, and operational performance.
  • Generate and participate in monthly and quarterly performance reviews for the organization and for external clients.
  • Network with potential clients to provide solutions to issues they have.
  • Help with developing proposals and pricing in response to customer RFPs.
  • Participate in sales and operational performance presentations to clients.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
  • Maintain overall compliance culture with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures.
  • Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA Degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of the ability to grow a market (include growth success in resume).
  • 5 or more years of operational leadership and/or sales experience in a facilities service environment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office software applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to inspire a decentralized team toward the common goal of delivering stellar service to customers and producing strong profits for the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of scalable processes and org structures.
  • Proven track record of consecutively exceeding sales objectives.
  • Working knowledge of human resources policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to embark on local and international travel, as needed.
  • Highly motivated and ability to be flexible in a team environment.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Accountability and dependability in all that you do.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
  • Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Working conditions may consist of extreme exposure to heat/cold weather conditions, involving both indoor and outdoor tasks.
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous environments and conditions might be experienced.
