Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in ensuring effective supervision of assigned personnel within the procurement test management domain. The supervisor will oversee, organize, and direct all facets of test management to deliver high-quality and cost-efficient services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Leadership and Team Management:**
- Recruit, train, and supervise departmental staff.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and recognition while conducting performance evaluations and corrective actions.

2. **Operational Oversight:**
- Establish priorities, manage workloads, and create schedules.
- Resolve daily operational challenges to ensure timely collection and processing of patient specimens.

3. **Financial Management:**
- Monitor financial activities within the department.
- Control expenditures, particularly in personnel costs, to align with budgetary goals.
- Prepare accurate inputs for the annual budget and lead waste reduction initiatives.

4. **Compliance and Accreditation:**
- Ensure adherence to accreditation standards set by relevant regulatory bodies.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

5. **Quality Improvement:**
- Participate in task forces aimed at enhancing service quality and patient experience.
- Utilize methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean to drive improvements.

6. **Communication and Liaison:**
- Act as a resource for information dissemination.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders regarding inquiries related to specimen management and testing.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in phlebotomy or laboratory processing.
- Previous leadership experience or management training is essential.
- Strong organizational, financial management, and personnel management skills are necessary.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and excellent communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- National certification in phlebotomy is advantageous.
