Casper, Wyoming, United States Dragline Service Specialties Full time
JOB SUMMARY

The Construction Project Supervisor will oversee various energy generation initiatives and objectives of Dragline Service Specialties through guidance and coordination from the Director of Engineering Procurement and Construction. This role encompasses both local and remote project management, along with essential administrative and safety responsibilities, requiring a solid technical understanding of the projects. The supervisor will provide daily leadership to multidisciplinary project teams, assist in developing and enforcing project-specific safety protocols, manage schedule development and tracking, and oversee logistics and coordination of personnel and equipment to and from project sites. Furthermore, the supervisor will monitor project financials to ensure the project's financial health at all stages, ensuring that installation and project operations comply with design, specifications, codes, and contractual obligations. In essence, the Construction Project Supervisor will ensure successful project completion—safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with various technical, contractual, and applicable code requirements. This position will serve as the primary contact and on-site leader for energy generation projects across the country. Job placement will be determined based on knowledge, skills, and abilities, including prior experience:
  • Construction Project Supervisor: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required. A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of three years of experience in Project/Construction Management and/or Energy Generation is essential. Ideally, candidates should demonstrate a history of leadership development and professional responsibilities related to oversight, management, and project execution while leading multidisciplinary teams. Additional certifications or endorsements from relevant training in project management, application engineering, and energy generation are advantageous. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the capability to lead teams across various trades and professional disciplines. Extensive technical knowledge of energy generation equipment and processes (engine, generator, PV, BESS, and electrical systems) is required. Experience with scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, as well as Project Management Software, preferably Procore, is also necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• The Construction Project Supervisor will be required to operate within multidisciplinary project teams and effectively learn, understand, and facilitate the execution of energy generation projects awarded to Dragline Service Specialties as an EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) Contractor or in any of those specific capacities. o Reciprocating Engine Driven Generator Sets (Diesel or Natural Gas Driven)

o Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), and associated programming and software

o Solar Power (PV, Inverters, System Controllers, Racking and Tracking Systems, etc.)

The schedule and Critical Path will be updated daily by the Construction Project Supervisor during projects and shared with internal and external teams weekly, along with project look-ahead intervals and updates/explanations regarding any Critical Path variances.

• Continuously review and track project deliverables and execution throughout all project stages concerning contractual, technical, and code requirements. Collaborate as necessary with internal and external engineering and contractor personnel during these scope and leveling exercises to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and appropriate project planning and turnover.

• Coordinate and lead meetings throughout the project lifecycle (additional or fewer meetings may be required depending on the project):

o Project Kick-off meeting with all internal project stakeholders to review requirements, schedule, and execution plan.

o Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Project Update meetings (as required) with all internal and external stakeholders to review progress, discuss open action items, schedule progress, critical path variance, safety updates, budget updates, change order status, etc.

o Project review meeting following project completion with internal stakeholders to assess budget, schedule, and contractual compliance, along with any takeaways and improvement strategies.

• Source, purchase, and expedite package components and accessories as necessary within project forecasted budgets and schedule constraints.

• Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure budgets are adhered to, and upon completion, produce a levelized project cost summary.

• Collaborate with internal project and safety teams to amend the Dragline Service Specialties Safety Program for each specific project as necessary. The Construction Project Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the Safety Program on-site and for fostering a culture of safety. Specific safety program requirements related to the Construction Project Supervisor include:
