POSITION SUMMARY

This role involves overseeing the management of solids control systems and ensuring optimal performance in various operational settings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute solids control rig setups and breakdowns, including troubleshooting and performing minor repairs.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of solids control equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Implement electrical rig setups and breakdowns, along with minor maintenance tasks.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of solids control and vacuum unit operations.
  • Adhere to established sampling protocols to guarantee quality control.
  • Prepare daily reports and maintain effective communication with clients, supervisors, and team members.
  • Exhibit professional conduct and maintain proper rig etiquette.
  • Provide training to fellow employees and be available for travel as required.
  • Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with company standards.
  • Show readiness to undertake general labor tasks as directed by management.
  • Complete necessary NOV WSS Core Training and ensure compliance with annual refresher courses.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in the solids control sector or related mechanical fields is essential for identifying potential mechanical issues.
  • Must possess a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks, pre-employment physical assessments, pulmonary function tests, and substance abuse screenings is required.
  • Capability to operate or be trained to operate heavy machinery such as track hoes or back hoes safely.
  • Ability to operate or be trained on existing solids control equipment and any new technologies introduced in the industry.
