Role Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will become an integral part of our dynamic FP&A team, providing essential support to CrowdStrike's COGS and R&D departments. This position will involve delivering data-driven insights and analyses that facilitate financial forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc reporting to guide the decision-making processes of senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business leaders to drive the financial budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including variance analysis, accruals, and financial reporting.
  • Engage in special projects aimed at enhancing processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Create insightful analytics and reports for various departmental leaders.
  • Lead annual AOP initiatives for different teams within COGS and R&D.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline is required.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in corporate finance, operations finance, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and revenue recognition; experience in SaaS is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a high aptitude for complex problem-solving and financial modeling.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all work.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the technology sector or with high-growth public companies.
  • Familiarity with SaaS finance and accounting metrics.
  • Experience in leveraging big data for insights from large, unstructured datasets.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Tableau, Adaptive Insights Planning, and/or NetSuite.
