Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance FP&A and collaborate closely with various departments across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic financial plans.
- Develop, publish, and communicate KPIs and metrics to effectively measure and manage company performance.
- Build strong relationships with budget owners to facilitate budget development, manage forecast adjustments, and provide department reporting.
- Create financial models to assess new business opportunities and product initiatives.
- Support ad hoc projects, including assistance with mergers and acquisitions.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance and automate planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring timely and clear information for management.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the business to provide insightful input for management decision-making.
- Assist the finance and accounting teams with month-end close, annual audits, statutory reporting, and external reporting requirements.
- Implement and oversee new financial systems, processes, and documentation.
- Act as a financial liaison across various functions within the company.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Administration (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or finance within the SaaS or software industry is required, with CPA or MBA credentials considered a plus.
Candidates should demonstrate strong financial modeling skills and knowledge of analytical techniques, along with:
- 5+ years of experience in annual budgeting and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- 5+ years of experience creating dashboards and reporting in systems such as Domo, Adaptive Insights, Intacct, and Salesforce.
At Truckstop, we are committed to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and inspiring workplace for all employees. We provide transparency regarding compensation, with the anticipated base salary range for this position being $89,000—$105,000 USD. Final salary will be determined based on various factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, education, certifications, key skills, experience, and internal equity.
