Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Account Supervisor to lead our Travel | Lifestyle division at FINN Partners, a distinguished global marketing agency. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who embodies our values of diligence and collaboration, and who is enthusiastic about the Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality sectors.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic and collaborative public relations team, managing prestigious global travel accounts including hotels, resorts, destinations, luxury brands, airlines, and travel services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, managing timelines and budgets while establishing strong relationships.
  • Oversee the execution of public relations campaigns and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a proactive media relations strategy to enhance earned media opportunities.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and leverage them for client media coverage.
  • Create comprehensive public relations strategy documents that outline goals, tactics, and pitching angles.
  • Organize and lead press trips and events for clients.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges during program execution.
  • Build and maintain valuable media relationships to benefit clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and participate in proposal development.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public relations agency, particularly with travel or consumer brands.
  • A degree in communications, public relations, or marketing is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with luxury brands is highly desirable.
  • Proven success in managing external programs, including media relations and social media initiatives.
  • Strong connections with top-tier media outlets in travel, lifestyle, and consumer sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure media coverage for clients in national outlets.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including editing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Meltwater, Cision, Muckrack, and others is a plus.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience and location.
