Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, collaborating closely with senior partners to manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring you are recognized as the primary contact for client inquiries.
- Oversee the implementation of targeted public relations initiatives and campaigns.
- Direct and enhance proactive media outreach strategies to secure earned media placements for client accounts.
- Guide and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Remain informed on industry trends and news to effectively leverage opportunities for client media coverage.
- Develop comprehensive public relations strategy documents that encompass earned, owned, and paid media tactics.
- Plan and execute press trips and events on behalf of clients.
- Support the creation of marketing content for clients across multiple platforms.
- Proactively identify and address challenges throughout the execution of programs.
- Build and maintain valuable media relationships to benefit client objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a public relations agency, particularly with travel and consumer brands.
- A bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in managing external programs, including media relations and social media strategies.
- Strong connections and understanding of top-tier media outlets.
- Proven success in securing media coverage for clients in national publications.
- Excellent project management and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with tools such as Meltwater, Cision, and Creator IQ is advantageous.
