Role Summary:
The Account Manager serves as the primary coordinator for client accounts, overseeing the management of programs, campaigns, and product launches.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships within the industry, including media, analysts, and other key influencers.
- Achieve significant successes for clients by securing media opportunities, crafting compelling content (such as media pitches, press releases, and speaker submissions), and orchestrating tours and campaigns.
- Exhibit strong strategic acumen and engage effectively with client executives, consistently demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of their business, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Provide informed counsel and recommendations to clients regarding their programs.
- Formulate strategies and implement action plans to support client announcements and initiatives, exercising sound judgment in decision-making.
- Stay informed about major industry trends impacting clients and leverage them proactively for client benefit.
- Facilitate effective collaboration within teams at all levels.
- Contribute to new business proposals through research, brainstorming, and program development; deliver presentations during new business meetings as needed.
- Manage productivity effectively and seek opportunities to enhance agency contributions.
- Oversee junior staff and consultants in delivering project outcomes.
- Monitor client billable hours on a daily basis.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or communications.
- Experience with technology clients and a solid understanding of the tech industry.
- Established relationships with media and a proven history of securing excellent coverage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
- Strong communication skills, including effective writing and persuasive speaking abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and proofreading capabilities.
- A proactive contributor with a knack for generating innovative ideas.
