Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of five clients, ensuring strategic communication plans are developed and media opportunities are identified to meet client KPIs.
  • Provide expert counsel to clients, aligning their public relations and broader marketing goals.
  • Draft and refine press releases, opinion pieces, feature articles, briefing documents, and other communication materials.
  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with senior journalists, particularly within top-tier media outlets focused on crypto, technology, finance, and mainstream news.
  • Manage team workflows, delegating tasks effectively to Senior Account Executives and Account Executives.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members to foster their professional growth.
  • Stay informed about current trends in public relations and the cryptocurrency landscape, ensuring clients are well-positioned in the media.
  • Participate in new business pitches and contribute to the development of public relations proposals.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • A minimum of three years of experience with a proven track record in public relations, either in an agency setting or journalism.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple client portfolios effectively.
  • Familiarity with the fintech, blockchain, or cryptocurrency sectors.
  • High level of motivation and the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Established media relationships with financial, technology, and mainstream press.
  • Strong news judgment and storytelling abilities.
  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative flair, strategic thinking, and innovative mindset.
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Experience in building influential networks and contacts.
  • Willingness to engage in creative communication methods.
