Job Summary:

We are seeking a junior to mid-level experienced, qualified, and creative multidisciplinary security and operations professional to support compliance with Security and Insider Threat Programs under 32 CFR Part 117, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the corporate Facility Clearance (FCL) for our offices and implementing, directing, administering, and developing the industrial security policy and procedures for assigned programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Kudu's FCL, including the implementation, direction, administration, and development of industrial security policy.
  • Prepare for inspections, process visit requests, handle classified mail, file, update logs/lists, order supplies, and other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure the facilities are secure, and national security information is not jeopardized.
  • Maintain personnel security records for Collateral using DISS, NISS, and other required Government systems of record.
  • Process incoming classified visit certifications, coordinating with the appropriate Program Security POC.
  • Coordinate internally and with external customers, including landlords, building managers, inspectors, security contractors, alarm companies, etc.
  • Maintain classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records, and final disposition documentation.
  • Respond to walk-ins, escort uncleared guests, and perform ad hoc security and operations services as required.
  • Ensure current cleared facilities meet all current requirements and have a plan and budget to meet emerging requirements.
  • Review operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes.
  • Assist with the investigation and documentation of security violations/incidents.
  • Develop how-to guides, check-lists, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), etc. to begin a repository of knowledge management as related to physical operations.
  • Maintain and conduct security briefings/debriefings, annual security education and training.
  • Assist recruiting team with new Kudites to include onboarding and badging.

Requirements:

  • U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility.
  • Hold a degree in a related discipline or 2-5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Possess working knowledge of the NISPOM and 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117.
  • Must have the DCSA CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Certification.
  • Possess strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Creative solutioning and problem solving of varying degrees of complexity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles, and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
