Position Title: Facility Security Officer (FSO) at TENICA and Associates LLC

Overview:
The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for overseeing security operations and ensuring compliance with security protocols. This role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance and involves providing comprehensive security support to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
As the FSO, your duties will include:

  • Acting as the primary security liaison to the Senior Security Manager.
  • Conducting classification reviews for all correspondence.
  • Maintaining a document accountability database and managing related correspondence.
  • Processing classified mail and maintaining accurate receipt records.
  • Overseeing the destruction of classified materials and managing magnetic media accountability.
  • Providing reproduction support for classified documents.
  • Keeping daily logs for various administrative functions related to document control.
  • Assisting with data processing and file transfers.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive database of customer contacts.
  • Researching and managing inbound and outbound visit notices.
  • Escorting visitors and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Assisting in the preparation of access control badges.
  • Conducting entry and exit inspections.
  • Maintaining access control systems and visitor management.
  • Entering data into the Personnel Access Security System and managing security files.
  • Enforcing Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supporting security awareness and education initiatives.
  • Performing additional administrative tasks as directed by the site lead or Senior Security Manager.
  • Monitoring security clearance processing with government personnel.
  • Conducting annual briefings and managing the Insider Threat Program.
  • Preparing for inspections and maintaining relevant security databases.
  • Processing classified mail and ensuring accuracy in Program Access Requests.
  • Conducting indoctrinations and providing mentorship to team members.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years) and must complete the DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training. A current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required, along with a willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph. Familiarity with security policies and guidelines is essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with various stakeholders.

Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate originality, creativity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
