Job Summary:
Arcfield is a leading provider of full lifecycle, mission-focused systems engineering and integration capabilities to the U.S. government and its allies. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Data Management: Prepare, analyze, and reconcile Sponsor's Business Enterprise (BE) financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Federal financial accounting principles and OMB policies.
- Financial Documentation: Prepare and reconcile financial documentation, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Spend Plans, General Ledgers, Materiality reports, Fire Tool reports, Journal Entry Repository (JER) input, BASIS Contract Requests (BCRs), and Data call responses.
- SLA Cost Data and ODCs: Compile and reconcile SLA cost data and ODCs each month, complete necessary adjustments and/or corrections, and ensure accuracy of financial transactions entered in BASIS.
- Prime Vendor Contract Status: Monitor Prime Vendor contract status and prepare BCR actions for Sponsor approval to increase funding levels, as needed.
- Financial Data Alignment: Ensure recorded financial data aligns with documentation/data delivered.
- Pricing Assessment Exercise: Support the Sponsor's annual Pricing Assessment exercise, including compiling financial information, coordinating meetings, and preparing assessment documentation.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare financial analysis and submit findings in response to budgetary or financial status inquiries within the Sponsor organization.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal functional teams and Sponsor leadership regarding financial validation exercises, process improvement initiatives, and to devise recommendations and implementation strategies.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Document and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all Finance Administration processes unique to the BE.
- Security Clearance: Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in a business and/or technical discipline, such as Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Systems Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience: Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience supporting financial-related activities for Government organizations, including plans, strategy, etc.
- Business System Experience: Experience with Sponsor business system, such as BASIS, CAPTURE Billing, CAPTURE Contracts, Workforce Management System (WMS), SLA Workflow.
- Acquisition Experience: Two (2) years of experience supporting acquisition-related activities for Sponsor organizations.
- Guidance Experience: Experience guiding individuals through Government acquisition processes.
- IT Experience: Experience directly supporting IT-related projects and/or work activities.
