Position Overview


The Security Operations Manager will oversee and implement security protocols necessary for compliance with applicable federal regulations concerning classified information at our operational facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active Top Secret clearance with the capability to secure SCI access.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training with a minimum of 5 years in the security domain.
  • Hold FSO certification.
  • Implement DD254 Contract Security Classification and manage subcontractor DD254s.
  • Conduct government assessments in accordance with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Administration (DCSA) and perform facility self-inspections.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 and other relevant DoD security directives, as well as Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards.
  • Exhibit a strong grasp of Physical Security requirements, including collateral Closed Areas and ICD 705 compliance.
  • Utilize platforms such as NBIS, NISS, DISS, SWFT, eFCL, DIAS, SIMS, and eQIP effectively.
  • Interpret and apply company and government security policies to operational programs.
  • Conduct personnel security investigations.
  • Develop and manage the Insider Threat Program, including investigations and regular stakeholder meetings.
  • Possess demonstrated experience with DoD, DoE, IC, SAP, or other governmental agency requirements.
  • Exhibit analytical skills to interpret DoD and company security policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively to advise stakeholders on DoD and company industrial security policies.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be a self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Show resourcefulness in problem-solving and seizing opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
  • Previous experience as a CPSO/CSSO.

Experience with FOCI companies, including SSA/SCA/Board of Resolutions.


  • Possess a COMSEC Custodian certificate or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
  • Conduct FOCI Audits and ensure adherence to FOCI mitigation documents.
  • Experience in developing and executing OPSEC plans.
  • Knowledge of Open Storage Areas.
Initial Expectations

Long-term Goals

  • Ensure compliance with NISP and relevant DoD and Intelligence Community policies for all programs.
  • Conduct security awareness briefings and debriefings, including counterintelligence and suspicious contact reports.
  • Coordinate and confirm employee security clearances through various platforms, reviewing documentation and conducting initial briefings.
  • Perform periodic self-inspections to maintain NISP compliance and report security posture accurately.
  • Investigate security violations related to classified information systems and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Support customer assessments and implement necessary security measures.
In Summary

  • Act as the principal advisor on safeguarding classified information.
  • Oversee compliance with NISP requirements.
  • Develop and implement security programs to protect proprietary information in line with corporate policies.
  • Create manuals outlining regulations and procedures for handling classified materials.
  • Establish an effective security awareness and training program.
