Job Overview

Position: Human Resources Coordinator

Department: People Support

Employment Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Salary: $22/hr - $26/hr

The Archdiocese of Denver is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment that aligns with our mission to serve the community. We are looking for a meticulous and collaborative HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources team in daily operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:
  • Assist the HR department with administrative tasks, including scheduling, document preparation, and invoice processing.
  • Manage communications via phone and email.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, both electronic and paper-based.
Team Coordination:
  • Oversee helpdesk ticket management and response.
  • Organize and maintain team documentation, including meeting notes and objectives.
  • Coordinate team events and activities.
HR Initiatives:
  • Support HR projects aimed at enhancing processes and employee experiences.
  • Collaborate with team members on various special projects.
Training and Development:
  • Assist in organizing training sessions and development programs.
  • Help prepare training materials for distribution.
Benefits Administration:
  • Coordinate committee meeting logistics and communication.
  • Assist in preparing documents and presentations for meetings.
  • Provide administrative support related to benefits and retirement plans.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Human Resources or related fields.

  • Must be a practicing Catholic committed to the mission of the Archdiocese.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform various physical tasks as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
