Position Overview:
The University of Denver is seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of HR Coordinator within the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science. This position plays a vital role in supporting the HR team and ensuring smooth operations in various human resource functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
- Organize and assign tasks to appropriate team members.
- Maintain and update employee records meticulously.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including interviews.
- Support supervisors in evaluating employee performance and engagement.
- Analyze training requirements, develop training materials, and conduct training sessions.
- Manage employee promotions and salary adjustments.
- Oversee the HR team's calendar, coordinating meetings and events.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Propose enhancements to employment policies and practices, providing recommendations to management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in data management systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

Qualifications:
- Must be a current graduate student at the University of Denver enrolled for the academic year.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training or certification in Human Resource Management is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
The role may involve various physical activities essential for a productive work environment, including manual dexterity for handling tools, lifting and carrying objects, and the ability to perform tasks at different heights.

This position is eligible for federal work-study, with compensation based on the student employee pay rate scale, including potential annual increases based on performance.

In compliance with relevant employment laws, non-benefited employees accrue paid leave based on hours worked.
