Description of Job
Daily Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and inform suite personnel of their arrival.
- Manage daily department mail.
- Maintain the Classified and Non-Classified employee email directory.
- Digitally archive all documents post-audit or HRIS entry.
- Follow up on outstanding documentation for new hires.
- Update the Student Verification spreadsheet and gather necessary forms and schedules.
- Process paperwork for Student Loan forgiveness.
- Organize and maintain I-9 documentation.
- Handle all new hire documentation, terminations, salary adjustments, promotions, and payroll entries in the HRIS.
- Process PERA forms for new and terminated employees.
- Update and manage campus emergency alert systems.
- Revise employee information such as address changes and direct deposit details.
- Manage resignation processes and notify relevant parties.
- Conduct audits of biweekly payroll.
- Respond to employment verification requests.
- Reissue W2 forms as needed.
- Adjust leave records for all employee classifications.
- Incorporate new leave types into employee profiles as necessary.
- Manage payroll deductions related to parking.
- Assist with new hire orientation sessions.
- Organize mailbox assignments for the suite.
- Support new hires with access to office equipment.
- Help with the preparation and distribution of departmental correspondence.
- One (1) year of experience in an administrative support role.
- Must be a resident of Colorado.
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in data entry tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Familiarity with form creation using Adobe Acrobat.
