Compensation:
$115,000 - $120,000

Position Overview:
This role involves providing comprehensive support for the design and assessment of systems that align with the functional specifications of innovative features. You will be responsible for generating concepts, crafting designs, and facilitating implementation support. Additionally, you will assist in developing objectives, requirements, CONOPS, and processes for various operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

You will oversee the security, integrity, and functionality of systems and networks, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Your role will include operating both networked and standalone systems across various classification levels.

As a systems administrator, you will manage platforms including SGI, SUN Microsystems, PCs, and Mac systems, utilizing multiple operating systems such as Solaris, Linux, and Windows. You will also handle Microsoft Active Directory services, including IIS, SharePoint, MS SQL, and MS Exchange, ensuring optimal performance and security.

You will identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network, server, and client system issues as they arise. Your responsibilities will include installing software updates, evaluating patches, and resolving software conflicts.

In addition, you will perform application loading, system hardening, and provide technical support for hardware and software utilized within operational environments.

You will manage the lifecycle of physical and virtual servers, ensuring data protection through regular backups. Utilizing network-scanning tools, you will assess vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies. You will also support the development of systems that leverage commercial and government technologies to enhance capabilities.

Your participation in all phases of system development will be crucial, with a focus on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance. You will conduct tests and experiments, maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

Furthermore, you will develop and maintain technical architecture drawings, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and system operations.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering, administration, and management is required.

A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred; additional experience may substitute for education.

IAT Level 2 certification is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Clearance Requirements:
Top Secret/SCI clearance is required. Travel is not necessary.
