Job Description

Peerless Industries is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key AV consultants, specifiers, and end-users to ensure that our products are specified on all target projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the AV industry, including AV consultants and channels. They will also have experience in developing and securing large projects with high-profile end-users, as well as a proven track record of working with integrators and end-users.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and growing working relationships with key AV consultants, specifiers, and end-users
  • Identifying, tracking, and following up on target opportunities
  • Obtaining market intelligence through consultants, specifiers, end-users, and OEMs
  • Communicating market intelligence to Peerless Industries product managers and sales force
  • Establishing a working relationship with the appropriate product managers for new product opportunities

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills. They will also have a strong understanding of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process and Revit files, as well as the ability to compose and present in front of high-level executives and conferences.
