Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our Hybrid Inside Sales team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify and pursue new business leads through phone and email outreach
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers and opportunities
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of Inside sales, telemarketing selling, or customer interaction experience
- Proficiency with MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), internet software, and email
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- A high level of integrity and resilient temperament
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of Inside sales, telemarketing selling experience or business experience at a product company
- Track record of over-achieving goals and demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls (45-60 on average) per day
- Experience working with a CRM database
- Ability to rapidly build knowledge of Johnson Control's product lines
