Culinary Operations Manager

At HAMSA COOKING INC, we are seeking a highly experienced Culinary Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team at one of our summer camps across the USA. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of sanitation and safety, and developing menu items for special dietary guests.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of culinary experience, with a focus on large-scale cooking, food safety training, and leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead kitchen personnel in production, quality control, and cost management
- Develop and implement standardized recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation
- Minimize food costs and exercise portion control
- Maintain effective quantity control based on camp food consumption
- Interact with campers and staff while maintaining an enthusiastic and welcoming attitude
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years culinary experience (summer camp experience preferred)
- ServSafe Food Manager Certified
- Previous experience in food safety training, culinary arts, and large-scale cooking
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to delegate tasks effectively
