Position Overview

Lawn Pro Partners is in search of a Senior Sage Intacct Business Systems Analyst to play a pivotal role in our newly established corporate division. This key position will focus on identifying and implementing technological solutions aimed at enhancing operational processes across our various local lawn care brands and the parent corporate entity. Reporting directly to the Chief Integration & Technology Officer, you will collaborate with brand teams and corporate resources to facilitate the deployment of new systems including ERP/Financials, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Field Service/CRM solutions. Your contributions will be crucial in driving the growth strategy of our overall platform while optimizing brand operations through effective technology solutions. Furthermore, you will keep abreast of industry trends, new functionalities, technology vendors, and best practices, transforming this knowledge into actionable recommendations for improving enterprise business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster robust relationships with internal branch and corporate team stakeholders as well as external software vendors.
  • Requirements Analysis: Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, identifying alternative solutions to enhance business processes and data analytics across multiple home services companies.
  • Project Oversight: Evaluate project requirements and provide guidance on essential project charter components (scope, objectives, timeline, resources, costs, and risks), collaborating closely with software vendors, branch team members, and corporate stakeholders. Serve as the primary project manager for system implementations.
  • Documentation Creation: Develop comprehensive documentation including design specifications, system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, training manuals, project plans, and other project deliverables.
  • Data Governance: Assess master data and formulate strategies, plans, and tasks for data cleansing, conversion, and ongoing management. Collaborate with local brands and BI resources to troubleshoot, resolve data issues, and enhance Master Data Management controls.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Investigate the root causes of complex issues, conduct research, and propose potential solutions within the scope of existing systems and available technologies.
  • Testing and Training Support: Assist in the implementation testing process, including the development of test scenarios, test plans, and managing the progress of core team and end-users during system testing. Conduct historical data conversions and validate the accuracy of migrated data in new financial systems. Provide training for key branch-level super-users.
  • System Administration: Offer support for financial systems addressing issues reported by end users (Billing, Payments, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Reporting). Act as the primary financial system administrator, ensuring adherence to best practices in system security and governance.
  • Travel Requirements: This position is remote with occasional travel to brand sites as necessary, up to 30%.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud-based Field Service and financial systems for service-oriented companies (preferably Real Green CRM, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite Accounting). Familiarity with business processes relevant to field-service companies (HVAC, lawn/pest control, or similar).
  • Process Understanding: Proficient in Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, General Ledger Record-to-Report, Inventory Control, Job Costing, Billing, Month-end close, reporting, and analytics.
  • Methodological Knowledge: Understanding of both waterfall and agile implementation methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-Motivation and Organizational Skills: Highly self-motivated, capable of effective multitasking, and thriving in both small team environments and medium-sized enterprises. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and time management, with a sense of urgency regarding critical tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a diverse range of business system users, functional teams, and technical teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality implementation outcomes.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a business systems analyst or solution architect role related to business systems for service-oriented companies (ERP, Financial Systems, Field Service/Billing Systems). Experience in the Home Services industry is preferred.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Systems, or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Certifications: Functional certifications in Business Systems Analysis, Project Management Professional, Financial/ERP systems, or similar are preferred.
