Position: Business Solutions Analyst

Location: Remote

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000

Position Summary

As a Business Solutions Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between organizational needs and technological solutions. Your expertise will drive the creation of innovative IT solutions while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will collaborate closely with development teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to address challenges, implement enhancements, and support operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact between business divisions, IT departments, and vendors. Comprehend and articulate business requirements to formulate effective technological solutions.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collect and evaluate business needs through interactions with internal clients, translating them into comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and execute solutions that align with business goals and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Project Oversight: Manage multiple initiatives, ensuring they fulfill business requirements, adhere to timelines, and meet quality benchmarks. Coordinate tasks and prioritize efforts to ensure project success.
  • Process Improvement: Assess current business workflows to identify opportunities for enhancement and recommend technological solutions to boost performance.
  • Documentation & Communication: Facilitate meetings, prepare detailed documentation, and present findings and updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to evaluate new products, resolve issues, and ensure that vendor offerings meet organizational requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project deliverables, oversee progress, and ensure timely completion of initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert assistance for technical challenges, working in conjunction with support teams to resolve issues and maintain system integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 1 year in IT or Information Systems, with a minimum of 3 years in a Business Analyst capacity. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with project management software. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively across various teams.
  • Leadership: Ability to influence stakeholders, lead requirement gathering sessions, and drive consensus to achieve successful project outcomes.
