The analyst will develop or adjust processes to address challenges, taking into account software capabilities, resource availability, operational timelines, and desired outcomes. This includes evaluating business and user requirements, documenting those needs, and translating them into appropriate system specifications. The position also involves participating in project leadership by documenting project scope and defining implementation strategies. The analyst will provide technical project oversight, often spearheading new system implementations and upgrades while managing multiple projects concurrently. Best practices will be documented and promoted throughout the organization. Individuals in this role are expected to be proficient and independent in navigating a diverse technological landscape. Regular mentorship and training will be provided to junior Business Systems Analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Understands the impact of integrating new or varying technologies into the existing business or clinical framework, employing research and analysis alongside knowledge of pertinent business or clinical systems and industry standards to define the scope and objectives for medium to large-scale systems, aimed at developing new or enhancing existing information systems. Conducts business analysis by collaborating with users to clarify their needs and meticulously documenting those requirements. Works collaboratively with team members to resolve issues related to current systems. Stays informed about business or clinical requirements and needs, considering future industry trends and changes, and comprehends the implications for existing technologies.
