Lawn Pro Partners is on the lookout for a Senior Business Systems Analyst specializing in Sage Intacct to enhance our corporate operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing technological solutions that streamline business processes across our diverse lawn care brands and the parent organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Integration & Technology Officer, you will collaborate with brand teams and corporate resources to facilitate the deployment of new systems, including ERP/Financials, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Field Service/CRM solutions. Your contributions will be essential in driving the growth strategy of our overall platform and refining brand business processes through innovative technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders and external software vendors.
- Requirements Analysis: Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, exploring solution alternatives to enhance business processes and data analytics across various home service companies.
- Project Oversight: Evaluate project requirements and provide guidance on key project charter components (scope, objectives, timeline, resources, costs, and risks), collaborating closely with software vendors and internal teams. Serve as the primary project manager for system implementations.
- Documentation Creation: Develop comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, training materials, project plans, and other deliverables.
- Data Strategy: Assess master data and establish strategies for data cleansing, conversion, and ongoing management. Collaborate with local brands and BI resources to troubleshoot and resolve data issues while enhancing MDM controls.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Investigate the root causes of complex issues, conduct research, and propose viable solutions within the framework of existing systems and available technologies.
- Testing and User Training: Assist in the implementation testing process by creating test scenarios, plans, and overseeing the progress of core team members and end-users during system testing. Validate the accuracy of historical data conversions in new financial systems and provide training for key super-users at the branch level.
- System Administration: Offer support for financial systems addressing issues reported by end-users (Billing, Payments, AR, AP, GL, Reporting). Act as the primary administrator for financial systems, ensuring adherence to best practices in system security and governance.
- Travel Requirements: This role is remote, with occasional travel to brand sites as necessary, up to 30%.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of cloud-based Field Service and financial systems for service-oriented companies (preferably Real Green CRM, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite Accounting). Familiarity with business processes relevant to field-service industries (HVAC, lawn/pest control, etc.).
- Process Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, GL Record-to-Report, Inventory Control, Job Costing, Billing, Month-end close, and reporting & analytics.
- Methodological Knowledge: Familiarity with both waterfall and agile implementation methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-Motivation and Organizational Skills: Highly self-motivated, adept at multitasking, and thrives in both small team settings and medium-sized enterprises. Exhibits strong organizational skills and time management, with a sense of urgency for critical tasks.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a diverse range of business system users, functional teams, and technical teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality implementation outcomes.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a business systems analyst or solution architect role related to business systems for service-oriented companies (ERP, Financial Systems, Field Service/Billing Systems). Experience in the Home Services industry is preferred.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Systems, or Computer Science is preferred.
- Certifications: Functional certifications in Business Systems Analysis, Project Management Professional, Financial/ERP systems, or similar are preferred.
