Responsibilities:
**Note: This position will cover a territory that includes various key markets.


You will collaborate with one of our major broadline distributors, engaging with healthcare, educational institutions, restaurants, and food service clients.


Job Description:

  • Accountable for meeting sales targets and implementing sales strategies, focusing on both volume and profitability within the designated sales territory. Responsible for securing and sustaining product distribution and maintaining effective agreements.
  • Engages in direct communication with current and prospective clients.
  • Conducts promotional activities and develops new client accounts.
  • Demonstrates product features and assists clients in optimal product application.
  • Reaches out to potential clients, articulating the benefits and features of our offerings using effective sales techniques.
  • Analyzes sales records, trends, costs, and revenue estimates to inform strategy.
  • Provides management with insights on account trends and performance.
  • Responsible for finalizing sales transactions.
  • Manages client accounts, addressing pricing, product warranty claims, and receivables.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS degree is preferred in business, sales/marketing, or a related field.
  • Ideally, 2-3 years of prior sales experience.
  • Must be willing to travel frequently (30-40%), including some overnight trips.
  • Demonstrated skills in initiative, problem-solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication (written, presentation, and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
