Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team at the Midatlantic Employers' Association. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, including experience maintaining accurate records and processing payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of employee data, including attendance, performance, and compensation.
  • Analyze and resolve employee-related issues, including conflicts, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and provide ongoing training to employees.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer and manage our company's benefits program, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation.
  • Monitor and maintain the leave of absence program, including tracking usage of FMLA.
  • Manage and coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for approximately 200 employees.
  • Provide support and guidance to other departments as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in related field or HR certification preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • At least 5 years of experience processing payroll.
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks effectively.
