Position Summary:

The Five9 North America Field Marketing team is seeking a Field Marketing Director to spearhead marketing initiatives across the US West regions. This pivotal role serves as a liaison between Direct Sales, Channel Sales, and Marketing, requiring a deep understanding of Five9's corporate objectives and the ability to develop a regional strategy that aligns with brand visibility, target account engagement, and sales pipeline goals. The successful candidate will adopt a "regional marketing leader" mindset to design and implement a comprehensive field marketing strategy that effectively addresses these priorities through a combination of digital, in-person, and exclusive marketing experiences.

This position will oversee the US West field marketing strategy and report directly to the VP of North America Field Marketing. You will collaborate closely with the extended team to execute a diverse array of demand generation and account-based experience (ABX) programs aimed at driving engagement with key accounts and enhancing the sales pipeline.

Work Arrangement:

This role is fully remote for candidates residing outside a specified distance from our office locations. For those within this distance, a hybrid work model will be implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and establish marketing direction with input from direct sales, channel sales, and other key stakeholders in the US West regions.
  • Foster a collaborative approach with sales, channel, and customer teams to align the field marketing plan with sales and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative integrated marketing strategies, both digital and physical, to achieve and surpass marketing and sales targets, utilizing a mix of events, digital channels, and personalized experiences.
  • Utilize account-based marketing tools and techniques to create and evaluate the effectiveness of ABM programs, including engagement with target accounts and their influence on the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise business development team to enhance lead volume, quality, and orchestration, aiming to generate high-quality sales opportunities.
  • Manage detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting as part of an integrated demand generation marketing budget and plan.
  • Oversee third-party vendors and agencies, ensuring accountability for exceptional performance, meticulous attention to detail, and value for Five9.
  • Monitor success criteria and performance metrics, aligning stakeholders on growth priorities and key performance indicators (KPIs) that will drive, accelerate, and expand the sales pipeline. Partner with marketing operations to define and gather performance metrics, tracking and reporting on progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in field marketing or demand generation within the B2B software technology sector. Experience in a matrixed, global organization is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in creating and executing account-based marketing strategies that effectively engage and convert enterprise accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering, accelerating, and expanding sales pipeline targets through regional marketing while managing acquisition costs and overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets.
  • Experience in developing and executing effective, multifaceted ABM strategies that yield results across various marketing channels, including events, email, digital, paid social, display, web personalization, chat, direct mail, webinars, and content syndication.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce, 6Sense, Marketo, Asana, and other marketing technologies is essential.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in building productive and influential relationships with geographically dispersed, high-energy internal and external stakeholders.
  • Permanent resident or US citizen with the ability to travel.
  • Preferably located in the US Pacific time zone.

Compensation and Benefits:

Five9 is committed to transparency in compensation throughout the recruitment process. Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications, and specific work location. The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role across the United States.

Additionally, the total compensation package may include an annual performance bonus, stock options, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
