Medline Industries is seeking to fill a crucial role within our Physician Office Sales Team. We are currently looking for an Outside Sales Representative dedicated to servicing a diverse range of healthcare providers, including Community Health Centers, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Cancer Centers, Urgent Care, and General Practices.

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for the Fresno, CA territory and nearby regions. This role involves selling a variety of products including disposables, exam gloves, point-of-care tests, and diagnostic equipment. Key contacts will include physicians, nursing staff, office managers, and procurement personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand and nurture a territory focused on residual-based medical supplies;
  • Cultivate relationships and establish a customer base within alternate site physician offices and hospital-based practices;
  • Conduct daily outreach to generate new customer leads;
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to introduce products to the medical community;
  • Prepare and present product quotations;
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients;
  • Develop and maintain a strategic territory plan;
  • Build a sustainable customer base in the alternate site market;
  • Educate and train on new products, emphasizing their medical and financial advantages.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a quota-driven environment, demonstrating proficiency in cold calling and full-cycle sales OR at least 5 years of relevant sales experience.

Relevant Skills

  • Proven track record of sales growth and achieving quotas;
  • Ability to effectively present a range of product lines;
  • Strong communication and organizational skills;
  • Consistent employment history;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook;
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively within the territory.

The expected compensation for this role includes a guaranteed salary of $85k ($55k base plus $30k draw), with additional commission opportunities ranging from 0-5% of net sales. This position is also eligible for bonuses. Medline ensures compliance with minimum wage and salary regulations.
