The Outside Sales Representative will manage the Fresno, CA territory and adjacent areas. The responsibilities include selling disposables, exam gloves, point of care tests, capital equipment, and diagnostics. Key contacts will be healthcare professionals such as physicians, nursing staff, office managers, and procurement personnel.
We are looking for a motivated, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Expanding and nurturing a territory of recurring medical supply sales;
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with alternate site physician offices and hospital-based practices;
- Conducting daily outreach to acquire new customers;
- Collaborating with manufacturers to showcase products to the medical community;
- Preparing and presenting product quotations;
- Cultivating long-term relationships with clients;
- Developing and executing a territory management plan;
- Building a sustainable customer base in the alternate site market;
- Training on new products to effectively communicate their medical and financial advantages.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of quota-driven sales experience in cold calling and full-cycle sales OR at least 5 years of similar sales experience.
Relevant Work Experience
- Proven track record of sales growth and meeting quotas;
- Ability to present multiple product lines effectively;
- Strong communication and organizational skills;
- Consistent employment history;
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook;
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel extensively for in-person meetings with healthcare providers.
The expected compensation for this role includes a base salary of $55k with a $30k draw, alongside additional commissions ranging from 0-5% of net sales. This position is also eligible for bonuses. Medline adheres to applicable minimum wage and salary thresholds.
Our benefits package encompasses health insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k) contributions, and paid time off for employees averaging 30 or more hours per week.
