About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Aspen Arbor Animal Hospital. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Communication: Receive and place calls to clients for the purpose of scheduling appointments and communicating with clients and veterinarians.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and pet records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information.
  • Client Service and Support: Assist clients with questions and concerns, provide information and instructions, and ensure a positive experience for all clients and their pets.
  • Financial Management: Manage cash and credit card transactions, maintain accurate balances, and follow proper procedures for handling client payments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, veterinarians, and other team members.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in veterinary software and computer systems, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for all clients and their pets.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and demonstrate a positive attitude in all interactions.
