Program Manager Job Description

The Program Manager serves a crucial function as the primary liaison among the Firm, Client, General Contractor, Consultants, and Public Authorities. This role is essential for ensuring effective project delivery and fostering strong client relations. The Program Manager is also responsible for enhancing the technical capabilities of team members and encouraging cross-departmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend the project agreement and client goals
  • Engage in fee proposals and negotiations
  • Evaluate project scope and structure work processes
  • Oversee project data and work alongside consultants
  • Manage design budget and track design timelines
  • Inform Client of project scope modifications and prepare cost estimates
  • Participate in design meetings and establish project records

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect with over 10 years of experience
  • Background in criminal justice projects
  • Strong technical and design expertise
  • Thorough understanding of codes and regulations
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Construction Administration tools
  • Capability to mentor emerging design professionals
  • Willingness to travel and stay updated in the field
