Manager I GBD Special Programs-LTSS Auditing

Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Topeka, KS OR Olathe, KS Elevance Health PulsePoint location.

The Manager I GBD Special Programs - LTSS Auditing is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and coordination of a clinical audit team for long term services and supports (LTSS), Intellectual and Development Disabilities and other age blind and disabled population care managers, ensuring compliance with both internal standards and external regulatory requirement.

How you will make an impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Manages resource utilization to ensure appropriate delivery of care to members, adequate coverage for all tasks and job responsibilities.
  • Directs and oversees audit strategies in support of corporate and health plan compliance
  • Directs and collaborates with functional managers to develop and implement the steps necessary to manage program operations and overall performance.
  • Participates in cross-functional workgroups created to improve internal controls and streamline processes
  • Extracts and manipulates analytical data to present findings to relevant markets and stakeholders.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years experience in a related field, including minimum of 1 year leadership/management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :
  • Significant experience in clinical auditing, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and insight into healthcare-legislation and guidelines.
