Position Overview:

Are you a seasoned IT Project Manager with expertise in Agile methodologies? In this role, you will oversee development teams throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery. As a Project Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a crucial role in managing Agile IT organizations, collaborating closely with executives, business Product Owners, and development teams to deliver essential systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of critical digital solutions, adapting swiftly in a dynamic environment.
  • Guide the Agile development process by establishing project roadmaps, defining milestones, and implementing performance metrics.
  • Foster collaboration among diverse teams to achieve impactful results.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with direct oversight of Agile software development teams.
  • Skilled in gathering and articulating business or software requirements, including writing technical specifications as features or user stories.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across IT executives, business product owners, developers, and functional managers in a flexible environment.
  • Experience in supporting Quality Assurance processes to ensure products meet established requirements.
  • Familiarity with Agile collaboration tools, such as the Atlassian suite.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate solutions and approaches in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in budget and schedule management.
  • Experience in multi-vendor environments or managing subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement and collaboration with technical teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and infrastructure.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Business.
  • PMP, Agile, or SAFe certifications.
