Position Overview:
As a SAFe Agile Coach, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organization towards Agile excellence. Your expertise in frameworks such as Scaled Agile (SAFe), Scrum, and Kanban will be essential in fostering an Agile mindset across various teams. You will be responsible for guiding the adoption of Lean Portfolio Management and enhancing Agile delivery practices while mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the launch of Agile Release Trains (ART) from inception to completion.
  • Conduct comprehensive SAFe training sessions and workshops, including Leading SAFe, SAFe for Teams, and SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
  • Assist in the identification of Value Streams and implement best practices throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to establish lean and agile routines that promote organizational transformation.
  • Engage in discussions with team leads and management to ensure alignment on commitments, pace, and quality of deliverables.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring technology leaders through complex Agile transformations.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level organizational transformation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with the Application Life Cycle and Agile Management tools.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions on Agile topics with executives and team leaders.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Willingness to obtain a SAFe 5.1 Program Consultant (SPC) Certification within 30 days of starting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) or Business Category (BCAT) programs.
  • Background in collaborating with senior executives in dynamic environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
