We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at Hay Distributing Inc. as a full-time employee. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting our financial and office operations, and contributing to the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing prompt and professional assistance via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Financial Operations: Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations, as well as maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Office Administration: Manage office supplies, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in financial and office operations, and apply learned skills to administrative tasks and projects.
  • Supply Management: Manage and maintain inventory of office supplies, uniforms, and other materials.
  • Mail and Reconciliation: Sort and distribute mail, and reconcile financial records and deposits.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a financial or office setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctual, open-minded, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
