Key Responsibilities:

Schedule Management:

  • Track and adjust master schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Forecast schedules and obtain vendor approval for planned timelines.
  • Coordinate vendor schedules and make necessary adjustments.

Vendor Coordination:

  • Forecast the required number of crews and allocate daily crews based on requests.
  • Discuss and adjust crew assignments with vendor management when resources are insufficient.
  • Identify top-performing crews using report cards and ensure vendors adhere to project scopes.

Administrative Duties:

  • Assist with vendor payments based on work completion and company guidelines.
  • Track and administrate back charges, outstanding punch items, repairs, and warranties.
  • Confirm with builders that sites are ready for upcoming vendors.
  • Ensure builders update the permit tracker weekly.
  • Track lumber and material counts and deliveries.
  • Adjust take-offs as needed.

Project Coordination:

  • Ensure vertical construction paths meet the needs of land development (LD) and vendors.
  • Assist in coordinating utility vendors.
  • Ensure Construction Managers (CMs) have the correct plans, scopes, and procedures, establishing RFIs for any plan changes.
  • Monitor site compliance and adherence to safety measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in construction project management, particularly in an office setting.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
