Front Desk Agent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Lithia Springs Resort. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-in/Check-out: Greet and check guests in/out efficiently and professionally, ensuring accurate and timely information and services.
  • Payment Processing: Process guest payments and obtain necessary identification, maintaining a high level of security and confidentiality.
  • Special Requests: Communicate and fulfill special guest requests, responding promptly and positively to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Guest Inquiries: Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally and courteously, maintaining a positive and respectful tone.
  • Complaint Resolution: Manage and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Phone Calls: Answer phone calls promptly and route them appropriately, maintaining a professional and courteous tone.
  • Amenity Promotion: Promote hotel amenities, events, and special packages to guests, ensuring they are aware of the resort's offerings.
  • Shift Communication: Communicate effectively with other shifts, ensuring seamless guest service and a smooth operation.
  • Daily Tasks: Complete daily checklist tasks, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining a high level of security and confidentiality.
  • Accounting: Post charges to guest accounts, reconciling shift transactions and preparing cash drops as needed.
  • Vehicle Use: Drive company vehicles as needed, maintaining a high level of safety and responsibility.
  • Guest Mail/Messages: Manage guest mail, messages, and wake-up calls, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned, maintaining a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
