We are looking for a motivated and skilled Front Desk Supervisor to become a vital part of our team at Ashland Hills Hotel. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the front office operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and memorable experiences.

Position Overview: This is a full-time position with an hourly wage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all guest registration and departure procedures
  • Establish and uphold communication protocols among front desk personnel, guests, and various hotel departments
  • Ensure outstanding customer service standards are maintained at all times
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage the reservation process for individual and group bookings
  • Possess thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, room categories, pricing, and available packages
  • Assist in streamlining front desk operations and implementing effective systems for staff management
  • Participate in employee management tasks, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and separations
  • Provide training to front desk staff on sales techniques, customer service excellence, and hotel offerings
  • Promote sales growth for transient guests
  • Support budget management and efficient staff scheduling
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to foster communication and teamwork
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in hotel front desk operations is preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience is advantageous
  • Possession of required licenses or certifications
  • Strong understanding of front office functions
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with proficient problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Experience with cash handling is essential
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive under pressure
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
