We are looking for a skilled and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to become a vital part of our team at Ashland Hills Hotel. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the front desk operations, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and memorable experiences.

Position Overview: Full-Time, hourly compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all guest registration and departure processes
  • Establish and uphold communication protocols among front desk personnel, guests, and hotel departments
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained, with a strict policy against subpar service
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage the reservation system for individual and group bookings
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of hotel amenities, room categories, pricing, and promotional packages
  • Organize front desk workflows and implement systems to enhance staff productivity
  • Engage in employee management tasks, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and terminations
  • Educate front desk staff on sales techniques, customer service best practices, and hotel offerings
  • Promote sales growth for transient guests
  • Assist in budget management and efficient staff scheduling
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to foster communication and teamwork
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years experience in hotel front desk operations preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience is advantageous
  • Possession of necessary government licenses or certifications
  • Strong understanding of front office procedures
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with proficient problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Experience with cash handling is required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
