Job Summary

MATHESON is seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional to drive business growth and customer satisfaction in the South Texas Market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed corporate objectives for safety and profitable growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Utilize computer software to manage sales activities, including outbound calls, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports, including sales performance metrics and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial regions, product management, and contract administration, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • 7-9 years of professional sales experience with a proven track record of high performance and proficiency.
  • Experience in dry ice/CO2 products, B2C accounts, protein processing and packaging, and third-party logistic accounts.
  • Proficient computer software skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Hands-on understanding of industrial gas products, production, distribution applications, and associated equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Training in safety and compliance, including OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 40-60% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
