About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Biostatistics Director to lead our Biopharma team at Emmes. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational direction of our biostatistics and statistical programming activities for our biopharma clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality statistical deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Biopharma Expertise
    • Provide expert biostatistical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on clinical development plans, clinical trial protocols, and statistical analysis plans.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of biostatisticians and statistical programmers to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality work.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members to support their growth and development.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the biopharma industry and emerging trends to inform business development strategies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Epidemiology.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in biostatistics, with a Ph.D., or 15 years of experience with a Master's degree.
    • Proven track record of leadership and management experience, including experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
