About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director to lead our Global Capital Projects team. As a key member of our Engineering Leadership team, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely execution of major capital projects across our global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive capital project management framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead a team of experienced professionals to manage and deliver capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize capital projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, project sponsors, and external partners.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver projects successfully.
  • Ensure that all capital projects are delivered in a safe and sustainable manner, meeting or exceeding company EHS targets.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized capital project management system to track and report on project progress, costs, and risks.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on capital project performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in capital project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering, with a focus on capital project management and delivery.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and develop effective solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience working in a global environment, with a strong understanding of cultural and regulatory differences.
  • Professional engineering certification, such as C. Eng, PE or Eur.Ing.
