As a Sales Director at OpenText, you will have the opportunity to drive business growth and lead a team of high-performing sales professionals. Your strategic planning and execution skills will enable you to meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and quotas. With a passion for leading and developing a team, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring your team to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies and plans complete with accurate forecasts.
  • Lead and direct a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quota targets.
  • Assist in sales efforts, legal contracting, and resolving customer issues.
  • Attract, engage, and retain a team of high-performing Account Executives.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching, and host regularly scheduled performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and significant Enterprise software sales experience with prior sales leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Application Development business or in a similar domain with ability to learn technical solutions in the business area.
  • A proven ability to meet or exceed regional sales targets.
  • A passion for leading a team and a demonstrated ability to drive results through others.
  • Strong business acumen and an ability to manage strategic plans with partner and company executives.
