GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Associate Manager of Financial Center Operations will engage in a thorough, tailored onboarding and educational program. This includes rotations across various departments such as Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, and Management. The position offers a comprehensive learning experience designed to equip successful candidates for a future role as a Financial Center Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Complete the FCMA roadmap as intended, fulfilling all onboarding activities from day one to program completion, including achieving a Consultative Selling Skills Certification.

Develop proficiency in enhancing Consumer and Small Business customer relationships by delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Acquire knowledge and maintain a solid understanding of Fifth Third's products, services, processes, and internal resources to effectively guide and lead the team.

Master the consultative sales approach to proactively identify the financial needs of current or prospective customers and recommend suitable solutions.

Learn to create an integrated business strategy ensuring all customers receive a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are paired with the most suitable banker for ongoing support.

Gain skills in sourcing, developing, coaching, and leading a team that embodies our Core Values and business strategies.
Foster a collaborative culture that works closely with business partners.
Engage in community-focused activities that benefit the areas we serve.

Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, demonstrating the ethical behavior expected from every employee.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Assist in providing employees with timely, constructive feedback; support their development to reach their full potential and offer challenging opportunities that promote career growth; acknowledge and reward employees for their achievements.


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
A college degree or two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in both verbal and written communication.
Capable of analyzing credit and financial data.
Proven ability to execute and coach sales activities.
Exhibits strong business acumen.
Demonstrated decision-making skills.
This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standard office environment.
Extended periods of viewing computer screens.
Occasional travel may be required for meetings and training.
